How can I join Cal CREATE?
CREATE recruits students at the beginning of each semester, with applications due in early September and late January.

What is the time committment?
Become a Student-Teacher
CREATE accepts applications for student-teachers in August to early September for fall semester and in early February for spring.

Make a Donation
CREATE is one of the programs at the Berkeley Public Service Center. Born out of the passion of students committed to creating a more just and equitable world, the Public Service Center is the heart of civic engagement and the public service voice at Berkeley. Through the Center, students, faculty, and communities work together to promote transformative social change and grow our next generation of civic leaders.
5 hours per week

This time includes teaching, attending weekly meetings/trainings, and creating your lesson plans.
